Women in Property Awards (WPN)

2016 SA Women in Property Awards & Gala Dinner

An evening filled with leaders in corporate South Africa, entrepreneurs, innovators, CEOs, socialites and #WPNRockstars! Airports Company South Africa proudly sponsored the 2016 SA Women in Property Awards and Gala dinner on the 26th of October 2016.

Regonising women in leadership

The SA Women in Property Awards is a collaborative platform dedicated to recognising outstanding leadership, inspiration, vision and innovation in organisations that have stepped up and shaped women’s roles within the private and public sector. The evening took place at the Montecasino Ballroom which was the perfect setting to introduce the WPN regional winners and finalists.

The finalists were in high spirits as they waited to hear who would be the national winners in the following categories: Young Achiever Award (under 35); Business Woman of the Year (Entrepreneur award); Professional of the Year (Corporate/Private Sector Award); Professional of the Year (Public sector award) and the Lisa Blane Award. The award categories reflect a wide spectrum of work these deserving women from the private and public sectors are involved in.

WPN Educational Trust

In addition to the awards, the gala dinner also raised funds through the sale of tables for the WPN Educational Trust which will award bursaries in 2017 to female students studying towards a property related degree or diploma.

2016 marks the third year that Airports Company South Africa has been involved in supporting the Women’s Property Network (WPN), having increased our support to the three regional awards events, as well as the National Awards and Gala Dinner.
